While doing a tour of the museum on the opposite side of the street, we dropped in for a quick cup of coffee. The atmosphere under the large oak trees was so pleasant, that we spent almost an hour there. The service was quick and very friendly and the coffee superb. We didn't have time to stay for lunch but will definitely do so next time. An excellent restaurant in a beautiful setting!

We were a group of four and sat under the trees from 10:00 to 15:00 meeting up with my sister. The food was great. I would visit again just for the pumpkin fritters! Service was satisfactory. The venue is absolutely amazing! Thank you for a relaxed day in beautiful surroundings with good food and company.

We always enjoy the food and drinks at this restaurant, but I was really put off by the young girl helping out this afternoon. I’ve been here many times and haven’t seen her before. I have no issue with a child spending time where their parent works, but some basic hygiene standards must be upheld, especially in a place that serves food.This little girl, who looked about 6 or 7, clearly hadn’t bathed in days. She was wearing dirty pyjamas, her face was covered in snot, and she was interacting with patrons, picking up glasses and plates, at 1pm. That’s unacceptable.Let me be clear, this is not the child’s fault. The responsibility lies with the adults, her parent(s) and the manager, who allowed her to help out in that state. It’s baffling that anyone thought this was cute or acceptable. Imagine someone’s unfinished drink being taken away by a child whose hygiene is visibly poor. It's not only unprofessional, it's a health concern.The child can be there, that’s not the issue, but she must be clean and presentable if she’s going to interact with guests. Please take this seriously.

Enjoyed a beer midday, was a very enjoyable Weiss. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere and they are dog friendly in the outside area which is great.The only reason for 4 stars is that on their black board, it said they have IPA but didn't actually have in stock.They have great looking milkshakes for those inclined.
