2 weeks agoEven though we loved getting so close to the majestic elephants & the opportunity to walk with them & feed them was magical.. Sadly the whole experience felt very rushed. Since the moment we arrived until the last minute. There was more focus on getting the nice pictures (although I guess most tourists want exactly that) than to actually calmly spend time with those animals & learn new things about them. Our ranger only told us general facts — but that as well felt rushed & we sadly didn’t learn anything new. Even though they had the opportunity to do a deep dive on just one animal.Overall experience felt hectic & “lets get them in & out asap” kind of a treatment. What was nice and a great perk was to see other animals that were roaming the territory even though you went to see the elephants like giraffes, rhinos, etc.

2 weeks agoOur family had the most incredible time at Indalu Game Reserve with the magnificent elephants, Moeketsi and Bakari. From the moment we arrived, the experience was both educational and awe-inspiring. We had the privilege of feeding these gentle giants and getting up close in a way that felt truly special and respectful. The guides shared fascinating insights about elephant behavior, their personalities, and the conservation efforts at the farm. It was amazing to learn so much while standing just a few steps away from these majestic animals. The interaction was safe, well-organized, and deeply memorable. We also captured some stunning photos that we’ll treasure forever. Being so close to Moeketsi and Bakari was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. This experience is perfect for families, nature lovers, and anyone who wants to connect with wildlife in an authentic and meaningful way.Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. Indalu Game Reserve offers an unforgettable blend of education, adventure, and pure wonder!

2 months agoPerfect Time at Indalu Game Reserve. Gerhard and Arina are perfect hosts. The Elephant walk was a unique experience. You feel that they love what they do and that the respect and the wellbeing of the animals is priority No. 1. The accommodation was very comfortable und as there are only two chalets at the moment you will have a really private experience in the wilderness. We will definitely come back and can absolutely recommend the reserve to everyone looking for something special 🫶🏼 we wish you all the best!

2 weeks agoVisiting Indalu was an incredible experience! I would highly recommend it to any and everyone - even if just to come as a day visitor. The guide, Hanru, was very knowledgeable and really made the experience one to remember. Getting to feed and touch the mighty African elephant was one of the coolest things I have ever done.
