The worst I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing . We didnt see a breakfast ,staff are barely interested to assist on any level. At 3 am I became aware of a drunk man from a construction team that was staying in one of the cabins on the premises trying to steal our things , reception was never open in the time i was there . The bathrooms are atrocious the linen does not seem clean . The smell of dog shit and septic tank was over whelming to say the least . As a dog owner i do appreciate the pleasure of being allowed to bring dogs but after the bad social behavior of the dogs residing on the premises I made sure mine did not engage any further with them , one of our team was bitten by the Rotweiler .After 10 years one would think that the driveway would be sorted the damage on my car , not worth the money spent . Maybe when they go bankrupt the staff will appreciate and value of the oppertunities that were presented and a more hands on aprroach by management would have gone a long way . There are cheaper venues well within a constrained budget with better views and sea front location than this lot . Also the price we paid and the price reflected here two diff prices we paid much more. I will never return and advise anyone who asks to consider alternative accomadation .

I was a bit concerned when booking this place because of some bad reviews. But in the end I was really happy I stayed there. It is a bit difficult to reach but you get amazing views once you’re up there. The hostel itself has a lot of green space , common spaces and is a beautiful place to relax for some days. The price is relatively low, compared to the other hostels in wilderness and it includes breakfast, which is a big plus when the next supermarket is a 30 minute walk. But the low price seems to come with some disadvantages, the rooms, blankets and beds were a bit smelly and one of the bathrooms didn‘t seem very clean. But the whole place has a rustic vibe to it and I really liked that.If someone is looking for a super clean fancy hostel this is not the place to go, but if you’re looking for nature and good views i totally recommend!

When you on a budget accommodation you can't really complain sleeping arrangements is good it keeps up with the wild. Beautiful view of the wilderness beach. It would nice if they could spend a little extra time tending to the kitchen as the freezers are never cleaned I had to clean myself just to use it

Pet friendly. Got 2 pitbulls and they were allowed on the premises with a big space where they could run around. Only negative is receptionist. The view is great but quit a climb on the mountain to get there

Unfortunately not what we expected. We didn't spend the night there but left the hostel immediately after finding an alternative. From our experience not recommended. The double bed room we had booked was not in the pictures. It was small, uncomfortable and the lamp didn't work. Instead of backpackers it is rather a hostel for men working in the area permanently. Therefore no vibe of a backpackers. The road to the hostel is steep and made of gravel. Depending on the weather, a 4 x 4 car is recommended. The only nice was the view from the restaurant.
