This website has been created to list businesses that accept bitcoin as a method of payment, be it on chain, lightning, or liquid bitcoin. The aim is to make it easy for bitcoin users to find places to spend bitcoin while also giving exposure to bitcoiner owned businesses.

The name evolved from asking businesses if they “do bitcoin” when I am paying at checkout. I am always happy when a cashier can say “Yes! We do bitcoin!”.

Geared for South Africa, the only criteria for being able to list your business is that you MUST accept bitcoin for payment. To add your business right now is 100% free of charge. This is a passion project so hopefully it will take off and more people will be interested in adding their business, and also making use of the directory to find places to spend their bitcoin. 

If you find there is no category that fits your business, or if you have any other suggestions for listings, please let me know. If you see that your business is already listed, you can claim the listing and then continue editing it under your own login details.
