African Stories Coffee is dedicated to sharing the rich coffee culture of Africa.
Our journey started with a mission to connect people through the stories of Africa, told through every sip of our meticulously sourced and crafted coffee. We’re on the path to serving as a bridge between African coffee farmers and coffee lovers, celebrating the continent’s vibrant heritage in every cup. We believe coffee is more than a beverage; it’s a medium for bringing people together.
Our cafes serve as community hubs, where stories are shared, and connections are made

10 months agoWhat an amazing coffee shop hidden away at Zoo Lake. The staff were amazing but even more amazing was the coffee and the food. When it comes to coffee, I am a snob but this coffee is on a totally different level and the Barrister know how to prepare the beans to perfection.I mentioned that it is hidden away, walk past the over crowed Craft & Co and look in the second alleyway, this is where you will find ASC.They guys will see me again that is for sure

a year agoLove the coffee! I had a cortado with oat milk and can honestly say it’s the best I’ve had. The coffee was also a bean from Burundi and had a lovely, velvety texture, robust flavour but absolutely no acidity or bitterness. It was smooth and full-bodied but had that distinctive fruity flavour. I almost had 3 cups in a row! Stopped at 2 but will definitely be back. Also loved the bread - I think it had oats in it. I was very happy with the breakfast. I think I may have found my new favourite spot Thanks @African Stories!

4 months agoCoffee is not great. I have had three just to make sure. The banana bread was dry and boring. Hope they can improve everything

a year agoMy absolutely favorite new work and meet spot! The name says it all - African Stories Coffee. Loved the atmosphere, the coffee, the team, the music, and the diversity. This represents the 'other' wonderful creative community in the Parks - the musicians, the academics, the journalists, the lovers of all that is ethical, human and very Pan African. I'll be back many many times and look forward to visiting the Mozambican shop when I am next there 💟🏾

a year agoLovely to see something unique in Parkview. I had the Shakshuka for breakfast and loved it. The addition of a touch of lemon zest was a surprise flavour burst. I think that there needs to be a note on the menu that it includes chilli though. My flat white coffee was also delicious.
