We came here for dinner 🍽️ and it was very good .We had ribs and a burger 🍔 and jappeno poppers.The poppers are not deep fried so less oil 🛢️, the ribs have a nice sauce and it's not smoothed in it and they smoke the ribs there so it's very unique tasty and really good , ribs definitely the best meal of the night.They do have a lot of alternatives so you can have salad or veg instead of chips which is nice..even u can change the burger 🍔 bun to something less carbie.Cocktails menu is rather small but we did have strawberry daiquiris and a classic mojito.The waitress and staff were very friendly and polite and service was on point.Overall I would recommend Blaize and Barrel.

What a great restaurant to visit. If you want to bring the family, meet friends at the bar or watch some sport on the big screen. The food is fantastic, prices very good.

Excellent. Delicious food, appealing atmosphere, helpful staff, and brilliant service. Price range is definitely fair & certainly good value for money, wine is available directly from the cellar, must confess they do have a very fine wine selection. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The spices and flavors were impressive. Ambient music from Mexico was set to compliment the food perfectly. The restaurant is suitable for families, children & large groups. I’d love to visit again. I'd recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family, or a partner.

Update Aug 2024: The quality of the burgers and pizzas started to drop around the start of 2024. Finally, we gave up on the Blaize on have not been back for a couple of months. We now drive to George when we want a good burger and to Wilderness when we want a good pizza.Update 31/12/2023: The new Pizzas are also very good. The best we had in Mossel Bay for a while. Excellent service as always.ORIGINNAL REVIEW: By far the best burgers in town. Food 5 Star, Service 5 Star, Atmosphere 4 Star.

Amazing little pub and restaurant! The service was excellent, the food was delicious.
