8 months agoFood was amazing! Enjoyed the creamy mussel main, more than enough too use as a share plate. Veg came out better than expected, wasn't the typical steamed style. Was a quite evening and got served quickly. Recommend to get your seafood fix here.

2 weeks agoIn the afternoon a Witsand local recommended Ellie's. So we went there for dinner. I had delicious grilled fish with lemon butter. The service was great. We didn't wait long. We finished our meals with a nice Dom Pedro. I can absolutely recommend this place.

2 months agoIf zero stars were an option, I would’ve chosen it. We were eating with three people, two ordered a schnitzel and I ordered the surf and turf. It took almost an hour for the food to arrive, which in general isn’t a problem but nothing was communicated with us and the moment I asked for it, the only thing I was told was that it was coming out now. After which it still took like 15 minutes to come out. The schnitzel was like you would expect a schnitzel, nothing wrong with it. My steak came out well done tho, while I ordered it rare. After taking it back, they brought out a new steak which was blue rare, like ice cold inside. I brought it back again after which I got it back a bit warmer but still actually cold on the inside. I took it back again and didn’t feel like a new one after this, so they took it off the bill, which is very appropriate but still appreciated. I payed the bill and didn’t get a sorry, a thank you, or a good night. She just turned around and walked away. After paying I spoke to other guests that had some problems with missing pizza’s. I definitely won’t ever come back here…

2 months agoWhat a lovely little restaurant. The staff was super nice and the service was excellent.You must definitely try the Jalapeño poppers, this was divine. You get 3 massive poppers that are filled with a nice surpriseAll food is made fresh and I prefer it like that.I would recommend this place for everyone to add it to your list of things to do when going to Montagu.
