Food was amazing! Enjoyed the creamy mussel main, more than enough too use as a share plate. Veg came out better than expected, wasn't the typical steamed style. Was a quite evening and got served quickly. Recommend to get your seafood fix here.

Such a sweet spot! Service was great, food delish and VERY importantly, one of the few dog friendly places we've been able to find in the Malgas region! Really charming. We were so disappointed when we saw all the river and seaside places wouldn't allow dogs, but I'm actually so relieved - becausr we may not have otherwise stopped by this little treasure. Really lovely staff.

The whole experience from start to finish is great. Waitress is so friendly and kind. The food at Ellie's on Main is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and the owners are so friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! In the afternoon a Witsand local recommended Ellie's. So we went there for dinner. I had delicious grilled fish with lemon butter. The service was great. We didn't wait long. We finished our meals with a nice Dom Pedro. I can absolutely recommend this place.

Highly recommend Ellie’s, we stayed in Witsand for a few days and ordered some takeaways. We had fish, chips and homemade tartar sauce, was absolutely delicious. Then for lunch we ordered fig and blue cheese pizza, creamy mussels with ciabatta to soak up the amazing sauce, it was to die for. Amazing food, great vibe and passionate owners.
