Metelerkamps is a surprisingly large kitchen shop found in the small seaside town of Knysna, owned by John Metelerkamp and his wife Avril.

John bought it as a small gas appliance business in 2005 and since then he has changed, improved, expanded and then expanded some more. His best move was bringing in his wife who made perhaps the biggest and best changes of all and that was to take us from an appliance business to the destination shop we are today. She has a feel for the beautiful, designer and branded goods and John is brave enough to let her order the things that she likes.

To complement the household items we also sell and install closed combustion wood burners. It is a large part of our business and something we are all very passionate about.
