This is hands down the best burger spot I’ve ever been to. The quality is outstanding, the prices are fair, and the food is consistently amazing. Their expert burger meal is unbeatable, and the smash burgers are cooked to absolute perfection. Every bite just melts in your mouth, it’s honestly the best burger experience I’ve ever had.I just hope the hype and influencers don’t ruin this hidden gem for the rest of us.To put it into perspective, if I had to compare it, I’d say their burgers taste like the real-life version of a Krabby Patty.
Simply unforgettable.
I took my nephew and sister to this burger restaurant. The lady who took my order was very helpful and friendly. It’s a very small restaurant you can see straight into the kitchen which was very clean. Our food came out and the fries were delicious. The burger was absolutely amazing my little nephew gave it a 100/10. It is also very affordable - R80 for a double cheese burger and chips and the burger is so big and filling. I love this place and will definitely recommend
Gorgeously delicious!! The burgers were juicy, perfectly grilled and taste incredible! The burger was packed to the brim! My husband and I attended the Grand Pop-Up Opening and the vibes were homely and family friendly. If I were not already filled by the first burger, I would have definitely gone for seconds.
We ordered online, and thankfully the process was quite easy and straightforward. With a lot of people raving about this place my expectations might have been too high considering it is run by students (supposedly)
However I could not seem to get over the lack of health and safety concerns that this place poses. For the sole purpose of keeping this review unbiased and just a general outline of what someone can expect from MJ”s. They have an amazing burger and even better fries and what they lack in professionalism and customer care, they fully make up for in taste.
The food was incredible. The patties are smashed, juicy but crispy sear. The buns are fresh and the burger sauce is delicious. Chips were had crunchy outside but soft inside, well spiced. Pleasantly surprised and will be coming back.
