8 months agoWe had breakfast there, Farmer's breakfast, and it was delicious, especially the sausage. A very nice touch is the two small bottles of jam (marmalade and apricot) that accompanied the toast. Also had s slice of lemon meringue tart, lemon flavor was noticeable, very good. Tables on the stoep in the shade, nicely cool. Friendly staff and proprietor. Worthy for more visits.

4 months agoReally the best quick stop, thoughtful owners and staff anticipate your needs. Can I bring you a takeaway box? Can I fill your coffee flask. Would you like a blanket for your toddler. These small things count a lot when you're doing a long journey.

5 months agoStopped here for coffee and cake. Had to back up after turning into De Rust after seeing the wonderful setting for a café as we drove by. We enjoyed one of the best coffees we've had in our travels. With the setting, the coffee, the friendly service, and the great scones, we couldn't recommend it more.
