The manufacture of high quality surfboards, shaped by respected local Jeffreys Bay shaper and surfer ” Thys Strydom”.

The surfboard factory is situated at the entrance to St. Croix street in Jeffreys Bay, home of all the surfboard shapers of J-Bay and overlooking ” Kitchen Windows” – an awesome local right-hand surf break. The premises were converted from a large old house into a state of the art surfboard factory, boasting – shaping bays, spray bays, a large glassing/ laminating section, and a separate sanding and finishing area. The factory also has a spacious showroom for surfboards, surfwear and surfing accessories.

All employees are local craftsman who have honed their skills over many years in the industry. Materials are all imported and sourced throughout the world. A passion for quality is the trademark of The Surfboard Factory which has established their credibility throughout the industry.
