3 months agoA beautiful spot. We ordered croissants and smoothies. Just felt a bit rushed by the guy I assume is the owner or manager. He was hovering around the lady taking our order and whilst my son was deciding what to get, he told the server to leave our order and help the customer who just came in. This was after she had taken most of our order. We then just quickly picked from the menu to avoid starting all over again.

a year agoWell run cafe with super friendly staff! One of the best chocolate croissants I've ever had. The coffee was bitter so wouldn't be my first choice for a cuppa. They do pizzas and pastries and it feels like you're in Greece.

2 months agoI'm not sure what all the hype is. Coffee was good, food was very average. Service was good. Very expensive!I love to support small and local. It is sad when a place could be so much more. If you want to keep it simple and offer only a few things, do them exceptionally, I say.meh, who am I to complain really. People seem to love it. I didn't, though.Super foodie and regular supporter of small businesses.

2 years agoI truly enjoyed SALT so much, during my week long holiday I went there every morning with my partner, and we must say that the Croissants are to die for! Had almost 10 Croissants on my own and we bought close to 50 Croissants for our family in the week we were there. The coffee was good and the atmosphere was amazing, I would come back to Ballito just to chill here. I wish I had their pizza, it looked like they had great pizza too.

2 months agoVisited a fee times... coffee is good, they open st 7am usually so could be an option if you run late. Also got some take-out pizza one evening which was very tasty, nice thin base. Would recommend.
