Recommended by our Backpacker host. We went with a group of 8 people to have dinner. During dinner, open mic evening was happening. The Mexican food was so delicous. Took the Enchiladas and I can definitely recommend them!

We actually stumbled in here because we tried 2 other restaurants before this that said they were open to serve food, but when we got there we found out they were not, so thank you Surf Cafe for being honest with your open hours! That being said - it was truly a blessing this happened. Great vegan curries, really unique tequila to try, the server was very fun, and the live music was really great to listen to and really at the perfect sound level to add to the dinner experience but still be able to talk to my group. Definitely recommend here, if we weren’t leaving tomorrow I would go back tomorrow to try out some of the other options.

Good food. Great scenery and great atmosphere. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the music.

I’m not sure why it’s not spoken of more. But they definitely have the best burgers. I highly recommend

Got to love Mexican food! Very lekker spot with good food all round and a unique selection of beers 🍺 on tap. Nice venue with live music on occasion. Relaxed vibe to take some time out.
