    I was having a problem with my Dell Latitude 5570 which was switching on and then switching off and I took it to your store in Hatfield Pretoria on 25 February 2025. I mentioned when booking it that I had tried different chargers and I also removed the battery to check if maybe it was the charger or the battery that was causing the problem and I still had the same problem. I was told that they would take a look and get back to me.I waited a few days and I didn't hear from the Notebook. I then tried calling and managed to get through to Cindy on the 3rd of March 2025, who said that she would look into it and that someone would call me later that day. I did not get any call but I did get an email saying that they would come back to me. I sent a reply to the email saying no one contacted me and then again on 10 March I got an email saying Shantel would assist. I tried calling on the 11th March 2025 but couldn't hear anything so Shantel sent me Whatsapp saying the laptop is switching on but they want to do further testing to make sure everything is fine. On the 14th of March 2025, Shantel sent me whatsapp saying that the laptop needed an internal battery cable which they needed to import. I explained to her I found it very strange that that cable was a problem because I had removed the battery and it was still problematic. She said that she was waiting for the technician and would then send a quotation. On the 17th March Shantel sent me a quote which said something about a charger for R950 but I would need to wait about 3 weeks for delivery once accepted. Then she sent another quote which seemed to be a battery but was R850 but said that it would take 2 weeks cause it was locally sourced. I told her not to go ahead because that cable can not cost R850 and should be easily available and I did find it on takealot for R200.I collected my laptop on the 19th of March 2025 and when I got home and tested the laptop, it did switch on although on power supply because the battery was disconnected. To my big surprise, I found that the laptop screen was replaced, an inferior HD screen was put in and my original Dell FHD screen was removed. I took screenshots and sent it to Shantal and she said she knew nothing about it and would get the technician to call me of course I again heard nothing. I sent email explaining everything and then Shantal said I should come in and they will put back my screen and she said technician had put that screen to test and she didnt know he did that. I went back to their store and they wanted to put a screen which was not working into my laptop saying that my screen was faulty in the first place. I asked them why was this the first time I heard of faulty screen and all along I was told it's a internal battery cable and many weeks ago they said my laptop is working but needs a battery cable. I find the notebook company to be crooks and liars. Dont use them.

    After having dealt with the organisation I can now confidently say their service is below sub par. I doubt they do proper assessments booking a laptop, and if an additional issue rises they will deny it happened in their possession - so keep in mind you are liable for any damages done with your machine in their possession.Keep Matt away from customers he's terribly arrogant.

    I had to wait a week before they phoned me with a quote for the repair. They said they would have to replace the RAM memory card, but did not have a compatible one on stock. So I decided to take the laptop home without the card. They seem to be overwhelmed with the amount of work they are faced with. When I fetched the computer, there was one technician working and stacks of laptops lying around waiting to be repaired.
