The Seakrit Spot & Dr Moose Cafe is a cheerful place, well supported by locals and might soon become known as the “former best-kept secret” in Plett.
The Seakrit Spot & Dr Moose Café offer superb coffee, a range of pastries, cooldrinks and deliciously fresh and healthy takeaway meals. If you feel like firing up your laptop and sending off a few emails as you sip your coffee, feel free to do so – the interior is petite, stylish and inviting.
Grab a coffee and croissant and hang out on the giant beanbags outside as you contemplate a day filled with blue skies, sunshine and the exploring our amazing coastline.

4 months agoThey have amazing coffee and snacks and even better people! During our stay in Plett we made a trip to Seakrit’s sister store, Rumour, an almost daily habit. It’s at the Market off Main, about a block away from the other location, and had a wonderful atmosphere in the open air market overlooking the beach. The staff were always extremely friendly and always got us off to a great start to our day. A big shout out to Hallet, his fabulous cappuccinos, and warming smile. I highly recommend a visit to The Rumour at the Market, or Seakrit itself if you have the chance!

2 weeks agoWent to the store at the market. As an Australian we have very high standards for coffee and this is the BEST coffee we had so far whilst being in SA!! Definitely would come here again and will recommend it to anyone!

10 months agoI love these individually, independent, intimate coffee spots!!! It brings out their own personality into it. The way they make their coffees are different. The way they sell their baked goods. The use of their own make of coffee beans. The displays, the decor, the smell... it just intrigues you to order a coffee and a slice of something to go with it!!!I can only judge a good cup of coffee when I drink it and I don't get a tummy ache from either the coffee or the milk. We also had a piece of their carrot cake and apparently it tasted very yummy (my son was the judge of that because he ate it all.) No kids enjoy a vegetable cake versus a chocolate cake!!!
