3 weeks agoReally lovely staff and location. Had a great wine tasting with a lady (whose name I regrettably can’t recall). She made it a great experience, even spicing up our tasting of the jerepigo with some lemon peel and ice. Will definitely visit again!!

3 months agoGood farmstall with a free tasting of their wines. Also good prices on the wines if you decide to buy.

a month agoWhat a quaint stop and lovely experience. Dont rush through this little shop. They have a wide variety of wines to taste and a light lunch menu to be enjoyed. Spend some time and buy some wine, you won't regret it!

3 months agoI had previously stopped at the Padstal for a delicious lamb roosterkoek, so I was delighted to see that they did something special for Braai day today. And how lekker it was! Yummy pork pork sosatie, and roosterkoek with boerie and smoor. Homemade gingerbeer to wash it down. Inside the padstal you'll find local favourites, wines, rusks, fresh farm eggs and so much more. It's a great spot to take the farm back home with you. Already looking forward to my next stop at Domein Doornkraal Padstal

a month agoWorth a stop on your way through de Rust! The homemade ginger beer is highly recommended; whether its a hot summer's day or a cooler winter's day (with snow on the mountains). It sells out quite quickly, so grab a few bottles :-) They might not have stock on your way back home!
