Thyme & Again offers it’s local, national and international customers warm, country hospitality combined with a variety of scrumptious savoury and sweet home-made delights from its very own bakery as well as carefully selected local delicacies and an excellent collection of fine wines mainly from the Western Cape. Customers are most welcome to browse around the shop or relax in the garden café whilst enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee, sampling treats or any of the freshly prepared meals.

Looking back in Thyme After touring the entire South African coastline in the 1930’s, J.J. de Kock found Keurboomstrand which he believed was the most beautiful beach in South Africa.

In 1937 he built a humble beach cottage and passed on his love for the area to his family. J.J’s granddaughter Tessa decided to escape the hustle and bustle of city life in 1993 and moved to Keurbooms to start a farm stall next to the N2, 6km from Plettenberg Bay.

The farm stall started out in a small house as a veggie stall and slowly, but surely grew with each passing year until it became the bustling destination that it is today. In 2012, Kirsten joined forces with Tessa, launching Thyme & Again into the next, exciting chapter.
