2 weeks agoWe were so lucky to have missed our planned lunch stops and finding this padstaal on our route. We ended up having the best Pulled Lamb Roosterkoek imaginable at Domein Doornkraal!!!! Wow wow wow - we've been talking about these roosterkoeke for weeks now!

2 months agoIt’s a secret gem ! My favorite Padstal by far. Lovely variety of local products, even regional wines and the small restaurant is a must - the roosterkoeks are just super super yummy and it’s a nice view onto the mountains!

4 months agoWe stopped in to just try one roosterkoek (pulled ostrich and plum).... We got two more, a wine tasting and coffee! Great place! Some of the best roosterkoeks I had while in SA! Very tasty bread!

3 months agoNever buy from their website. It's either a scam or they have some of the most appalling service ever.Ordered over a week ago. Payment confirm, order number confirmed. No word of my items. Cannot contact them by phone, no response to emails, or response when asked via their site. Simply no word, no goods, money lost.
