One of the few coffee shops in or around Cape Town that has a 5 star rating with 100+ reviews. It was my first time in strand and being a coffee fanatic, I thought it best to try Ekhaya. It has a great location for a coffee shop, beside the market, promenade and beach. Baristas are cool, interiors are minimalistic yet well thought out, coffee is fantastic, in fact one of the best I've tasted off late. I will highly recommend this coffee shop to any coffee aficionado passing through strand.

A must try coffee shop in Strand! Delicious fruity coffee with a few pastries options. The barista was incredibly friendly and even explained a bit about the coffee we were drinking and the bean origins. I’ll be back!

The extremely charismatic owner is an absolute delight, always making conversation and genuinely taking interest in customers ensuring their experience is the best. The coffee is absolutely brilliant. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Modern and beautiful shop. Clean and neat. Gorgeous view of the beach. Genuinely unbeatable.

Good to see a new small roast business doing well. Great coffee and friendly service. Quickly prepared to a high standard. The roast is smooth and rich without being too strong, milk heated to perfect temperature so that your drink is not burnt. This will be my go too whilst visiting the Strand :) Dec 2024
