Founded by Tersius van Papendorp, Ethno Alchemy is based in the beautiful Knysna indigenous forest in Harkerville, Plettenberg Bay.
Tersius is a herbalist and has been studying natural medicine and shamanism for the past 15 years. The vision for Ethno Alchemy came about through nature, it just happened, the intention being to provide people with very high-quality natural medicines at affordable prices. This is achieved through intimate connection with the growers and community, which ensures quality and high-vibrational products and medicines.
We strive for the highest quality products, we only import if we have too, most of our products are locally grown. We also strive to wild harvest what we can as the quality of mushrooms grown in the forest cannot be compared to what is grown in a lab. For plant species that are endangered we have growers growing them in natural conditions rather than wild harvesting. Our extracts are also stronger than what you normally find, we believe low alcohol content is important and more medicine in your extract means more value and healing for you.
