2 months agoI recently had the pleasure of dining at Joplin’s Restaurant on the Garden Route in Wilderness, South Africa, and I must say it was an exceptional steak experience. As someone who considers themselves a difficult customer and usually only eats steak at The Fat Butcher in Stellenbosch, I was genuinely impressed. The steak was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and rivaled the quality of top-tier establishments. The service was attentive and professional, and the ambiance of the restaurant made the meal even more enjoyable. Joplin’s is a true gem for steak lovers, and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking an outstanding dining experience.

2 years agoYou won't find a better steak along the garden route than at Joplin's steak bar! The cherry on top were the fries which were the best that we've had on our trip. All around a lovely experience

5 months agoThis is a typical small town eatery and very much has the feel of a family run business.We had the rump steak and t-bone, each coming with an over-easy egg and side of fries. The steak was prepared well, of high quality though the BBQ basting sauce was a bit sweet for my liking. A salt, pepper and oil rub alternative might add some value.Staff was friendly and felt welcomed to the venue. Atmosphere is that of a bar and can honestly say that it will only be as good as the company you keep. That said, the venue is cozy on the inside if you are a lone traveler.Will be making a return.

11 months agoWe loved our fillets at Jolins Steak Bar! The atmosphere with great music was great, steaks tasted great and the drinks were amazing. We 100% recommend to spend an evening here when in Wilderness!
