Small scale working farm in the mountain valleys of Swellendam. Farm produce including honey, vegetables and eggs sold
Purchased in 1920 by JS de Wet Wolfkloof has been the family farm of the De Wet family for nearly a hundred years. It lies at the foot of the Langeberg a short distance west of Swellendam. The northern neighbour is the Marloth Nature Reserve.
The long term mission is to build good healthy soil. The rest of the actions flows from this. We have a strong focus on local plants and animals and have a nursery dedicated to the propagation of plants from the valley the farm lies in.
Wolfkloof Boerdery have several accommodation options to choose from such as the Patathuis, Jansehuis, The Pink Room and Melkkamer Dormitory.
Wolfkloof is a working farm and there is always someone around to assist with any queries or help to make guests stay comfortable and enjoyable. We give the guests space to explore and enjoy the farm. While in Swellendam, there are plenty of highlights to explore, including the Drostdy Museum, the Faerie Sanctuary, Wildebraam Liqueur tasting, golfing, game drives and picnics, and even an Umshanti river cruise.
