a week agoLocal indoor outdoor restaurant. Friendly staff, clean facilities. 4 enjoyed our lunch each dish was prepared well and service prompt despite being busy. The vegetarian burger was delicious but still sloppy. Sadly I've never had one the could hold its form .

a month agoThe white lady manager who took my order is super friendly and energetic shoutout to her. Coffee freeze is great and the salmon bagel is mad. Order also came fast thank youuuuu!

10 months agoI tried Croft & Co on Tuesday, as I was looking for a place to work from. I came back on Wednesday and Thursday because 1) the service is impeccable. The staff is friendly and attentive, yet you aren’t bothered; 2) The food is great, and portion sizes are generous (I’ve had the works burger, fries, chicken livers, and coffee). I paid between R190-R305 with tip; 3) There is free WiFi, a designated co-working section (tables for 2 and 4, as well as a long communicable table) at the back of the restaurant equipped with plugs and plenty of space for a remote set up. Additionally, the bathrooms are modern, and clean.I definitely see myself being a regular here. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a change of environnement, and a remote working space with actual plug points (very rare in Johannesburg).

3 years agoCroft & Co is the quintessential coffee stop for any cyclist or runner in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg.They are open from 5am during the week, which makes a convenient stop for cyclists and runners to grab a cup of coffee before heading home. Additionally, your bike is expertly guarded by Brian who also offers a wash service on weekends.It's a fantastic restaurant with tables that look out on to the beautiful leafy streets surrounding the Zoo Lake area.The coffee is fantastic and they also do a delicious chocolate milkshake. The banana bread (ask for it to be extra toasty - trust me on this one) is spectacular. The rest of the menu is also superb with the breakfast burger and breakfast bun being firm favourites.Friendly service, always with a smile. The energy of the owners is also infectious. It's just a lekker place to be.Simply put, in Johannesburg, no one does the early morning café stop like Croft & Co. An absolute institution.

3 years agoLove the decor which is a mixture of steam punk and antiques. A wide menu with delicious food and very friendly service. A nice pub area too. Loved it. A good place for breakfast, lunch, tea or spending a happy afternoon.
